OUR STORY

Born in London, UK, to Middle Eastern and English parents, there has always been a celebration of faith, culture and heritage in my life.

As a woman who has dressed modestly from a young age, I know how important it is to feel confident, comfortable and elegant in what you choose to wear - because what you choose to wear celebrates every part of who you are.

From this mindset, and with all women in mind, Tulas was born.

From this beautiful intersection of Middle Eastern and English traditions, our collections celebrate modest fashion as a bridge between cultures.

From the traditional flowing Abayas and elegant Hijabs of the Middle East to the refined modesty of English heritage inspired maxi dresses, we honour both worlds through thoughtfully created garments that provide the modest coverage you are looking for.

Our garments are constructed with our signature design features. These include high-necklines, long sleeves and non-sheer fabrics. We also understand the importance of functionality, and incorporate designs that are nursing friendly. We pride ourselves in providing elegance and femininity in this way, whilst still maintaining your modesty.

Our collections are a homage to classic Middle Eastern modest attire, incorporating intricate luxurious embroidery and fabrics. They are also an Ode to traditional English fashion, from vintage fashion silhouettes and styles, to floral and delicate fabric prints. Our collections offer something for everyone.

In a world that often asks us to choose, we celebrate the beauty of belonging to both. Modest fashion isn't just about covering - its about honoring our faith, our roots, and the rich tapestry of cultures that shape who we are.

Our mission is simple: to empower women to celebrate their identity, and in turn, to honour roots and tradition. We believe that when women are empowered, this in turn empowers new generations. This is why at Tulas we believe in giving back to communities who are in need of support. Our promise is to give a percentage of our proceeds to charities that are close to our heart, so that the cycle of empowerment can continue.
